Mr. Gwénaël Meneux is currently VP of Commercial Strategy & Excellence (CSE) at AstraZeneca, China.
Gwénaël joined AstraZeneca France in February 2009 and acted as Sales Force Excellence Director and Customer Excellence Director successively. He joined AstraZeneca, China, in September 2016, leading commercial enabling functions in the areas of Sales Force Excellence & Business Intelligence, Market Research, Marketing and Launch Excellence, Business Planning, Project Management Office, Training & Capability Building and Event Management.
Gwénaël began his career in 1998 at L’Oréal (FMCG division) where he held several sales and marketing positions (sales representative, global & country marketing manager and Marketing Director, Latin America). Later he joined the Boston Consulting Group where he enriched his robust corporate marketing experience with strategic project design and management.
Gwénaël holds a MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School.
Joseph Sheng joined Sanofi, China, in 2010 as the head of Business Development and Strategic Planning Department and is now leading the Primary Care Business Unit focusing on the China market.
Joseph has been working in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years, taking extensive roles in Sales, Marketing, BD, Strategic planning, etc.
Joseph began his career in Schering-Plough from 1994. Until 2009,where he worked in Roche, Pfizer, Bayer and Philips, gaining various experiences in business arenas of Ethical , OTC and Medical Devices.
Joseph Sheng obtained Bachelor Degree of Pharmacology from Shanghai Medical University and MBA degree from CEIBS.
After 3 years consulting at McKinsey, Victoire entered Sanofi in 2009, where she worked in Corporate, Europe, and France affiliate, in both functional and operational roles. Victoire joined Sanofi, China, in May 2015 to tackle affiliate digital transformation.
Victoire holds a Master of Philosophy in Technology Policy, Business Administration and Management from University of Cambridge.
James Yau is a seasoned Sales and Marketing executive with over 20 years of experience across Asia, including the Greater China region by holding multiple management and leadership roles at UCB Pharma, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, and Nokia.
James is now leading innovation within the Go-to-Market model by leveraging the power of digital technology to create the best solutions for HCPs and patients. His mission is to transform the conventional pharma engagement approaches into a data-informed, insight-driven, digital-focused, and patient-centric omni-channel platform.
James obtained EMBA in Business Administration from National Chengchi University.
Zhihui (Zig) Lang, M.D., PhD.
Dr. Lang is the Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, China. In this role, Zig directs the Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Communications, Scientific Operations, Medical Compliance, Health Economics and Outcome Research and Pharmacovigilance.
Prior to coming to Bayer China, Zig worked in Bayer’s Global Medical Affairs Oncology in the United States. Zig has 17 years of pharmaceutical industry experiences ranging from early and late stage clinical development to global medical affairs. Zig has also held positions at Endo Pharmaceuticals, Johnson and Johnson, Wyeth and Novo Nordisk.
Zig is a board-certified oncologist and hematologist. He received his medical education at the Fourth Military Medical University in Xi’an and PhD in Biochemistry at Rush University in Chicago.
Henry is responsible for managing Aktana’s operations in China. He brings with him more than 15 years of combined experience in the enterprise software and Life Science industries. Prior to joining Aktana, Henry has held various positions in sales, consulting, and technology development. Most recently, Henry has worked at Veeva China where he led the sales consulting practice’s multichannel innovation initiatives. He has also worked at Microsoft and Merck, before returning to his hometown of Shanghai in 2011.
He attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he graduated with Joint Honors in Information Systems Engineering and Strategic Marketing Management.
